What is Rainy Sun?
RAINY SUN is a graphic design company created by two dedicated and talented graphic designers eager to please clients with amazing and original designs that not only satisfies their demands but are also worth to frame and put up on your wall. We currently work as Art Directors for a regional publisher on South Florida.
ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Diana Ramírez
Dreamy and creative, living in her own bubble but very responsable, she always keeps in mind that one of the most important things is to listen and meet the demands of each client, developing unique and professional designs that are not only visually appealing but that also communicates and represent the ideas of each project.
Jorge Márquez
Meticulous and unique, always bringing the design to the next level. His vast knowledge and special dedication to each project allows him to make stunning compositions. He likes to go beyond the conventional to create original and bold designs, without neglecting its purpose and functionality. Doing an “okay” design is never an option.
Why the name Rainy Sun?
Jorge and Diana both come from Bogotá, the capital of Colombia. One particular feature from Bogotá is its unpredictable weather, sunny mornings can turn into severe storms in the afternoon. This phenomenon is called “Rainy Sun” . This ambiguous term, can also be applied to different aspects of Jorge and Diana’s lives and personalities. Jorge for instance, loves the light, hot sunny days. Diana on the other hand enjoys the rainy, cold gray days… Their personalities, as well as their different skills as designers make them a great, harmonious and complete team. Also, they come from Bogotá, which even though has this “Rainy Sun effect” is mainly a cold and rainy city and now, they live in West Palm Beach where the sun seems that never goes down.
So “Rainy Sun” seemed to not only describe where they come from and where they are now but also, two different personalities, skills and visions that together make a perfect combination that is now RAINY SUN.
